Zero Waste for Technology and Art

Zero Waste for Technology and Art

Hello, my name is Ahmet Tarık Demirbaş
I’m an industrial Designer
I have been collecting mechanical watch parts for 20 years.
These are original pieces of very high collection value.
I design and manufacture automobiles in steampunk style.
What is the steampunk style?
We can say that all kinds of steam and mechanical parts
produced in 1700’s and 1800’s years can be reinterpreted.
These are new designs that are blended with today’s technology
and metaphorically influenced.
I’m influenced by this effect,
so I started to create such Works in my own way.
I decided to use it in my design guests,
,combining with today’s world famous steampunk style,
because we have serial numbers in the sewing machines,
I mainly use, we can clossify in 3 cotegories according to production years.
According to the years, they were produced vintage-retro-antique class
Some of them are very high production values which we call gold label.
And even some of them have patent numbers,
so collection value experts can be evaluated.
For example, the model I gave you with the name of the ‘Sikatron’ you see here
has a gun-like structure and the original electric motor system.
The crazy desert cars I saw while watching Hollywood’s Mad Max Film series
were the pioneers of different model searches and the summit of mechatronic engineering
The Sikatron model’s tires are above the Standard and the moving parts can be operated manually.
As a team of 5 people could use the rocket, mortar and anti-aircraft elements,
they were designed close to the original and were mounted with bolt joint technique
using the original parts of the sewing machines.
It is also possible to demount in any way because it is a bolted joint.
Toyota, Fiat, Lada which we have know for a long time in the past,
have been producing machines for textile for a while.
I know that, so I use the parts of the sewing machines bearing the names of these brands and produce them
in the models where the original names pass.
I started designing with tractor studies at first.
Tractor studies have a primitive appearance as in the early period steam models.
I have started to use a lot of different materials in automobile designs
Maybe it will be funny, but I have been in a week-long workout with
very different pieces like kitchen grater, tea plate and strainer and I’ve come up with interesting models.
While my studies in automobile design have driven different alternatives
in different process with the intension of designing a motorized model
that Works with the idea of assembling 2 sewing machines in 90 degree angle
As a result of this study we have created a very good functinal model.
I look forward to the suggestions and comments
of interested parties and developing such studies in our country
If you want to know more about my studies,
you can contact me at the e-mail and facebook under the video description.
Thank You

  4. Wow man! Love your work! Love every detail on your construktions, can't stop watching! Its so inspiring for my real car projekt. Thank you for sharing and all the best to you! 🙂
