Global powertrain manufacturers are constantly
pushing the boundaries of mass production
processes to produce engines that meet the

measurement systems that delivers the improved

up to 500 mm per second; capturing huge amounts
of data that can be used for subsequent analysis.
By adding surface roughness to a measurement
machine as well, we’re providing automatic
capture of a parameter that’s very important
to manufacturers of automotive equipment.
With the 5-axis positioning, we’re able
to put the surface finish stylus into the
exact position needed to inspect parts such
as cylinder bores, bearing journals and valve
guides.
