Online Auto Repair Manuals

hello master tech mark here I’m gonna show you another online auto repair manual last one I showed you was all data and this one is e auto repair which is powered by Mitchell’s and Mitchell’s has been making standard paper repair manuals for the last 85 years and they are now getting involved in the online version and this is a really well done program and a subscription is $9.99 for a week and once you get the manual this will be the first page after you login that you will see and the manual is broken into three sections but I wanted to show you that they have a little help icon right here and this is handy for the first time you’re using the program because it’ll give an explanation of how the manual is broken down and once you understand how it works it’s a whole lot easier to find the information and the help section is also broken down into the three individual areas that the manual covers so this is definitely a good thing to take a look at if you have never used this before and again this will be the first page when you log in that you come to and I want to show you what the maintenance area looked like and this is for my specific vehicle and let’s say that my vehicle just turned a hundred thousand miles and I want to see what is recommended by the manufacturer I’ll just go ahead and click on a hundred thousand miles and it will show me the labor times for the repairs and it will also show me what to inspect and what to replace and you can see that it’s time to do the spark plugs and it’s also time to do a transmission service and what I also like about the program is that it tells you what kinds of fluids to use and the fluid capacities all in the same section so this really makes it easy for do-it-yourself maintenance and that’s what the overview of the maintenance section looks like and we’ll go back to the first page and this is the technical service bulletins area and this can be really helpful and we’ll just go ahead and use an example let’s say that I have an intermittent no crank no start condition on my truck we’ll go ahead and click starter and this will take us to the known technical service bulletins related to the starter and you can even narrow it down even further by clicking these checkboxes but I found an interesting one here it says intermittent no crank no start so we’ll just click on that and it will take us to a bulletin that is directly related to an intermittent no start condition and it turns out if you read this that the factory in some cases has cross threaded and stripped the battery connections and either the battery needs to be replaced or they need to be repaired and this would be taken care of under warranty if this occurs on your vehicle and this can definitely save you some time and even some money and the handy feature a lot of things are printable in the ER Oh repair manual and this technical service bulletin could be printed out and given directly to your service advisor so that he’ll know exactly what needs to be done and why it shouldn’t cost you anything so that is exactly what those two sections look like and this is a very helpful program on my website I have a video about what the in what it looks like inside the repair section so I’m gonna send you over to my website and if YouTube lets me put a link I’ll put a quick link but my website is auto fax org and you just go ahead and click on the DIY DIY auto repair tips and this will take you to a lot of helpful articles but also a video about Mitchell’s auto repair online manuals and this is what the page looks like and there will be a video that shows you exactly what it looks like in the repair section and I thank you very much for watching the video and these auto repair online programs can really help you get the job done and encourage you to take a look thank you
