Hyundai Motor Group to set up autonomous driving joint venture in the U.S.


Hyundai Motor Group will create a joint
us venture with the global automotive
technology firm for the development and
sales of autonomous vehicle technologies
the group announced today that it’ll
sign a contract with active PLC in New
York Monday local time the group’s
affiliates Hyundai Motor Kia Motors and
Hyundai mobis planned to invest a total
of two billion US dollars in the joint
venture the new firm will be
headquartered in Boston with technology
centers across the US and Asia including
Korea the Hyundai Motor Group says its
goal is to have a production ready
autonomous driving platform by 2022 for
Robo taxi providers fleet operators and
car manufacturers

  1. Self driving cars = destruction of freedom to travel. Total control of the population. Any one in favor of these is anti-freedom.
    Americans love to drive. Stop trying to take away our freedom to travel freely unobstructed.
