How To Fit a Covert Tracking Device to Vehicles

Hi we’re the spy guys The surveillance and technical team for spy equipment uk we are going to make a series of videos demonstrating how to get the best out of our products and in this first video we’re going to show you how to fit a vehicle tracker to a car and below this video you’ll see a link to a document explaining more about this actually fitting a tracker is as easy as child’s play but there are many other things to consider first ensure you know just where and when the target will be in a good location to avoid your vehicle being seen make sure you park away from the target and walk the rest of the distance before approaching the target area make sure that you turn the device on then open up the tracking application and ensure that the device is showing its current location check the local area for passers by to avoid being seen once you know it is safe approach the vehicle from the rear and attempt to fit the device behind the bumper on the opposite side to the exhaust when fitting the device avoid anything that moves such as the suspension spring as this could knock the device off you should also avoid anything that gets hot such as the exhaust as this will melt the tracker once the device is in place test it to make sure it won’t fall off as not all metals work well with magnets always try to fit the device right behind the bumper as this will help conceal it and aid its performance if there is no room at the back of the car try the wheel arch but make sure that the device won’t make contact with the tyre as this could knock it off as a last resort you can install the tracker at the front of the car but you do need to take extra care that the device isn’t placed in a area that will get hot
