Honda’s new 1.5 Liter Turbo Charged engine for those great Canadian Summers. Plus the exceptional fuel economy you’ve come to expect from Honda. For drivers who demand performance, lets take a look at the new Agile Handling Assist system. As you enter a curve, this amazing piece of technology can actually brake an individual wheel helping the CR-V to almost pivot through the turn. For quick and complete stops the new CR-V also features an electric brake booster. The must have feature of the decade: LED headlights, giving the CR-V a no-nonsense look while lighting up the road ahead of you with crisp white daylight. Moving down we find another amazing piece of Honda technology. The active Shutter Grille System. These shutters open or close as required reducing aerodynamic drag and improving fuel efficiency at highway speeds. Ever walked away from your car and thought “Did I lock the doors??” In addition to the proximity key entry and the new integrated lock button on the door handle, you can also enable the CR-V’s walk away auto lock system and, never have to ask yourself that question again. Before you walk back to your car, take advantage of the CR-V’s standard remote start. I know, this is not that mind blowing – but check this out. When you start the CR-V remotely and the temperature is below 6 degrees, the heated seats and the Canadian exclusive heated steering wheel automatically come on. Plus, the opposite is true in the summer – on hot days the remote start will cool the car down before you get in! Okay, lets load up the CR-V. That’s the available Hands Free system. A quick kick below the rear bumper and you’re done. Plus you can set the height at which the tailgate stops so no more hitting the garage door. Inside the new CR-V a dual position cargo floor means more vertical height when you need it and a perfectly flat surface when the rear seats are folded down. Plus the cargo space is now 9” longer front to back. Hockey Bags – no problem. Up front a slick push button start plus 2 position memory seats with 4 way adjustable lumbar support – prefect for multiple drivers. Add to that standard heated seats in the front AND the back! Speaking of the back, the rear doors open to almost 90 degrees for ease of entry. Plus you’ll find class leading leg room, and tech minded passengers will love the available high speed USB chargers, so you’re phone never dies. The Canadian exclusive panoramic sunroof – provides great natural light all the way back. – allowing for perfectly lit “selfies” While we’ve got our phones out lets talk about the tech up here in the front. Equipped with Apple Car Play and Android Auto, both allow you to keep connected while keeping your eyes on the road and hands on the wheel So you no more of this: #TextingWhileDriving Now for you adventurers who regularly like to leave the cell service area – the available Navigation system is powered by Honda’s Satellite Link system. which means it works, even when there’s no cell signal. Now the CR-V is packed with too much technology for us to cover in detail, but here’s a quick list: Standard on All Wheel Drive models is the Honda Sensing suite of technologies: Collision Mitigation Braking System with Forward Collision Warning , Adaptive Cruise Control with Low speed follow, Road Departure Mitigation with Lane Departure Warning and Lane Keeping Assist. Plus other features like Blind Spot Information System, Cross Traffic Monitor, Auto High-Beam, Active Noise Cancellation, and the new Driver Attention Monitor. 1. I don't understand why only Canada gets a moon roof. Nor do I understand why Honda so smugly talked about a hands free trunk opening; this was new tech five or so years ago. It's just playing catch up in 2017.

  2. how much weight can the rear floor(trunk) handle? can a 130 pound dog sit in the rear or will the adjustable floor bend do to the weight of set dog?

  3. that's b***** that the Canadian version has them panoramic sunroof and the US version does not you better change that
