Catia V5 Tutorial|Automotive Engineering Design|How Create a Tyre(Easy Steps Beginners)|Part 3

hi friends this is Mohammed Shaquille here and in this tutorial I’m going to show you how you can design a tire in CATIA v5 using the part design and wireframe and surf’s design workbench so what you can see over here is the completed design of the tire and I’m going to show you step by step how you can create it this is the part of the tutorial and I’ll just switch back to the study which we were working on so the next thing you need to do is use the join command and combine the different surfaces together click OK now all these surfaces are in one join so the next thing you need to do is come back to the part design workbench and use the surface space feature here closed surface and then users join and convert into a part now I can just hide this so as you hide as you can see that that particular part is being revealed there now what you can do is we can actually come to the transformation feature and circular pattern and the circular pattern just select the object as the slow surface and the reference element as the x-axis and select complete crown over here and the number of instances you just give around 45 it’s going to take a little bit of time so you have to wait and we got a 45 components around the room over here so you can actually increase this maybe 47 or 48 just look on the preview and it’s gonna take a little bit of time so that is 48 48 parts or 48 patterns around the rim now so I guess this is sufficient for our tire here well so let me just increase it to say 52 and once you’re done with that pattern just click on okay and we got the first pattern over there so we’re going to create the same similar kind of pattern on the right side and another pattern on the middle and that’s it for this particular part of the tutorial and I’m gonna show the next step on the next part and I hope you enjoyed this if you have any doubts any clarifications in this particular part please comment on my video and you can always write to me at get your product user at gmail.com see atin or PR about user at gmail.com regarding any CAD cat projects or CAD queries you can always write to me and that’s all stay tuned thank you
