– My name’s Devin Lindstrom
and I’m a sales executive
here at Broadway Automotive.
– Jennifer Vang, I’m a sales consultant
at Broadway Automotive.
– Joel Griffith, I’m a sales consultant.
– I help customers get into
the vehicle that they deserve.
– I assist guests and basically
work out exactly what
their wants and needs are,
basically making sure I
fit it within their budget
and finding that perfect vehicle for them.
– I’ve seen many of growth opportunities
with my coworkers here.
– So I started working at Broadway
five months ago as a lot attendant,
parking cars, gassing them.
– I started off in
service as a receptionist
and then I moved on to
receptionist scanning
and then I finished school
and then I came back to do sales.
– I always kept a smile
on my face, worked hard,
and only three months in, they asked me
to move to a sales position.
– It’s an opportunity, basically,
to work with some fun and exciting people,
whether those be employees or just guests
here at the dealership that I’m assisting.
– I love what I do.
I love talking to people.
I love selling cars.
I love talking cars, actually, and just
being able to go work and love what I do,
love everything I see
everyday makes it easy.
– I definitely think if
you do have that stigma
about the car salesman
and come to Broadway
and meet someone like
myself or anyone else
on my sales team, I think
that perception might change.
– I have never walked into a place before
where everybody’s willing to help,
everybody is there for you.
– Really, working with Broadway,
I do notice a big difference.
I didn’t even really
think something like this
could be work compared to,
it really felt like work
at some of those other places.
Here it just feels like I’m coming here
to have fun, be professional,
kinda run my own business
and have Broadway
as that umbrella over me.
– The training that I
received at Broadway here
has actually been phenomenal.
That’s one of the things that
I tell people all the time
of how much I do appreciate my job here
is because the training is
consistent and it’s constant.
– I had a lot of mentors
as far as my manager,
my co-workers, walking in with them,
sitting in with them, doing
the whole application process,
they are all there to help.
– And it makes it a lot easier
for somebody like myself
without sales experience
to jump into the game running.
– Broadway has been good to me
because they’ve given me the opportunity,
they appreciate me, they
appreciate the work I’ve done,
catching on real fast and it’s a very
family-oriented place.
– Reasons I would like to
work at Broadway Automotive
is unlimited earning potential,
it’s like a family environment
and also we just have
some really fun events
that we do outside and
during work as well.
Broadway Automotive did
have a ping-pong tournament
for charities, for the
Boys and Girls Club.
– I do not play ping-pong (laughing)
– Very fun experience.
Got knocked out of the
tournament early, myself,
but it was very enjoyable
just kinda watching
people a lot better than
myself kinda go at it.
– I like working with people
and I like having a good time
so being able to meet new people,
new faces everyday
really makes it worth it.
