Are you ready to tune up your training
or your career? Get automotive training
and be worth more money where you work now, find a new better paying job or land
a great one. You can learn everything you
need to know in Kirtland’s newly
renovated, state-of-the-art learning
environment and start your hands-on
training on day one. I love that it’s a
lot of hands-on. I learn through a more
hands-on than I do book work. Work in
your own bay, which is designed to
simulate a repair facility, you’ve got
everything you need in front of you to
do what you need to do. With your bay,
much like the real world, you’ll be using
the newest equipment with fully equipped
teardown areas for transmissions, engines,
axles, alignment racks and more. The new
lab has technology stations equipped with
cutting-edge computer diagnostic
equipment and fully loaded Snap-On
toolboxes in every single bay. This means
you’ll always be able to put your hands
on exactly what you need.
You’ll thrive with the individual
attention you’ll receive from
instructors who have successful careers
in the automotive industry. We run
somewhere around 15 to 20 students to a class.
We know everybody by their first name and their last. You’ll rub elbows with
auto professionals who are up on current
industry practices. You’ll learn outside
the lab too during trips to Detroit’s
Autorama and the International Auto Show.
You’ll see all the newest things in the
industry. You’ll get to build a car from
the ground up and get ready to show it
at car shows around the state when it’s
finished in our 33 Hotrod Project. Whether you’re looking for some quick
training and a certificate, an associate
degree or plan to transfer to a
four-year auto management program,
Kirtland’s programs will put you in the
driver’s seat. Go into the parts industry,
maybe you go into education, you can go
into marketing, engineering. You
can go into many different facets, as opposed
to taking one specific career path. You’re earning a certificate or
associate degree and Kirtland’s Auto
Tech training program will make you more
attractive to potential employers or
ready to go after a promotion. If a good
paying job with possible sign-on
benefits and basic skills that let you
