Automotive A/C leak repair

hi everyone so today it is in the upper 80s getting into the kind 90s with the heat index of a hundred this old beast is a 2001 Buick Century and I actually bought this car brand new gave it to my 16 year old daughter years ago and that’s why it is multiple colors um texting and driving do not mix teenagers don’t believe us until they have to do repairs um so the air conditioning has run empty and we’re hoping that a can of refrigerant would fix it so I did a fill on it with just a $3 $4 can of r134a refrigerant and it leaked out it lasted for a few days but it didn’t take hold in the teet we need to do this so today I’m doing this air conditioning Pro super seal and this has stop leak in it it doesn’t have the refrigerant in it so it works a little bit differently on this can is three ounces it has stopped leak in it and it seals any rubber hose this hose attachment when you’re done won’t be good anymore unless you flush your refrigerant with it it doesn’t have a gauge on it so I’m not going to reuse it a lot of the air conditioning cans do have a gauge on it and you’ll need that for the next part um we’re going to do a two-step turn different movies here so if you need to fix your air conditioning for leaks this is what you do there’s a low end service part and a high end service port so look up online and find out where your low end service port is like I said this is the Buick Century – all the way to the back right under the windshield and it’s just a black cap you won’t want to save that put it back on when you’re done how this process differs from filling your air conditioning is you want to put this on give it a good shake also and you’re going to want to put it on so that you can use the can upside down and puncture this once a time you don’t start the car until it’s on and that’s how it’s different than air conditioning and you just pull back push in and once it’s engaged and locked in place and of course I’m having trouble on the inside of the car okay so now that mr. Cash’s upside down you do not want to spell puncture get you want to start the car and turn the air-conditioning on high fold lower and comfy now take it off this was about $25 I got it at detective supply stores but on sale a seat row we stopping you
