Air Defense Missile, Top 5 Most Advance System Using by India

Top 5 Most Advance Air Defense Missile System
Using by India. 5) 9k35 Strela-10 Surface-To-Air Missile. The 9k35 Strela-10 is a self propelled SAM
System of Soviet Origin. In the West this system is better known as
NATO Reporting SA-13 Gopher. It has been widely exported to Soviet allies,
including Angola, Cuba, Czechoslovakia, India, Jordan, Libya, North Korea, and some other
countries. The Strela-10 uses chassis of the MT-LB multi-purpose
armored vehicle. The MT-LB can carry more payload. It allowed the vehicle to carry eight missiles
instead of four. Four of these missiles are ready to use. The Strela-10 is operated by a crew of three. Missiles are visually aimed. This short-range air defense missile system
can engage aircraft, helicopters and other visual air targets at low altitudes. The Strela-10 can engage enemy aircraft and
helicopters at a range of up to 5000 m and altitude of up to 3 500 m. There is a 10-50% possibility to engage fighter
aircraft with a single missile. Reaction time of the system is about 6.5 seconds. 4)Kub Missile SA-Gainful Surface-to-Air Missile. The SA-6 GAINFUL (2K12 KUB/KVADRAT) is a two
stages, solid-fuel, low-altitude SAM. The 3M9 KUB self-propelled surface-to-air
tactical low-altitude anti-aircraft missile system is intended for destruction of aircraft,
missiles, cruise missiles and assault helicopters at low to medium altitudes. The SA-6 low altitude surface to air missile
uses radio command guidance immediately after launch, switching to semi-active radar homing
in the terminal phase. In the event of jamming or radar shut down
the SA-6 may be guided optically and acquire its target after launch. It has radio command guidance with semi-active
radar terminal homing. It has been widely exported to Algeria, Bulgaria,
Bosnia and, Czech Republic, Egypt, Hungary, India, Vietnam. 3) Akash SAM Surface-to-Air Missile. Akash is a medium-range mobile surface-to-air
missile defense system developed by the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO),
Bharat Dynamics Limits for missile system, Ordnance Factories board and Bharat electronics
for other systems in India. The Akash SAM can operate autonomously and
engage and neutralise different aerial targets simultaneously. The Akash missile is claimed to be more economical
and accurate than the MIM-104 Patriot, operated by several nations including the US, due to
its solid-fuel technology. The SAM can replaced the Russian 2K12 Kub
(SA-6 Gainful) missile system. The kill probability of the Akash is 88% for
the first and 99% for the second missile on a target. It can intercept form a range of 30km and
provide air defense missile coverage of 2000 sq. km. Indian Army currently has 3000 Akash Surface-to-Surface
missile in service and more on order. 2)Barak-8 Long range Anti-Missile Naval Defense
System. Naval Barak-8 is a long-range anti-air and
anti-missile naval defense system being developed jointly by Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI)
and the Defense Research & Development Organization (DRDO) of India. Surface-to-air missiles designed to defend
against any type of airborne threat including aircraft, helicopters, anti-ship missiles,
and UAVs as well as cruise missiles and combat jets. Barak 8 is based on the original Barak 1 missile
and is expected to feature a more advanced seeker, alongside range extensions that will
move it closer to medium range naval systems. It is a safe carry and launch missile for
ships and is based on the small missile and proven vertical launcher concept. The missile is capable of intercepting supersonic
sea-skimming anti-ship missiles and high altitudes targets. It is also capable of successfully dealing
with simultaneous threats engagements, even in severe saturation scenarios
1)S 400 Triumph Air Defense Missile System. The S-400 Triumph (Western designation SA-21
Growler) is an air defense missile system developed by Almaz Central Design bureau of
Russia. It is an upgrade of the S-300 family and replaced
the S-300P and S-200 air defense systems of the Russian Army. In October 2015, it was reported that India’s
Defense Acquisition Committee was set to clear an Indian Air Force proposal for buying 12
S-400 systems. The S-400 Triumph can engage all types of
aerial targets including aircrafts, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), and ballistic and cruise
missile within the range of 400 to 600 km. The system also capable of engaging stealth
aircraft at an altitude of up to 56 km. The system can simultaneously engage 36 targets
at one time. Thank you for Watching. Please Like, Command and Subscribe
