15 Innovative Trikes and Three-Wheeled Vehicles 2019 – 2020

15 Innovative Trikes and Three-Wheeled Vehicles 2019 – 2020

– [Glen] Do you sometimes
feel four wheels on a bike are just too many yet two
doesn’t feel right either? Don’t worry we’ve got you covered. I’m Glen and today we’re bringing you 15 innovative three-wheeled vehicles. (upbeat music) – Thank you for watching
Mind’s Eye Design. – [Woman] Number 15. – [Glen] Starting off this
list is Arcimoto’s FUV or Fun Urban Vehicle Evergreen edition. This FUV has a top speed
of 75 miles per hour, and lasts an estimated
100 miles per charge. Let’s not forget about
the bells and whistles, heated seats and grips, Bluetooth speakers and removable doors, let’s the Evergreen really stand out from the crowd. (upbeat music) – [Woman] Number 14. – [Glen] The Bison SW 3500,
brings back that retro style in this three-wheeled scooter model. This fully electric scooter
allows for a max speed of about 18 miles per hour. The battery takes about
seven hours to charge fully and with standard features
like double seats, rear suspension and an
under seat compartment, this allows the SW
3500, to provide comfort and convenience on the go. (upbeat music) – [Woman] Number 13. – [Glen] Yamaha’s Niken is
a crazy cool-looking bike, that takes the idea of a
trike and runs with it. Yamaha also threw in
an 847 CC liquid-cooled three cylinder engine,
toting advanced features like their ride by wire throttle control and selectable D mode which allows for efficient engine control for any riding situation. (upbeat music) – [Woman] Number 12. – [Glen] Harley Davidson’s
2019 Tri-Glide Ultra, provides that classic chopper
feel on a three-wheeled trike. The tri-glide packs a twin cooled Milwaukee eight 114 powertrain engine that allows it to achieve
an estimated 43 mpg. The 2019 model also has
new brake enhancements, suspension improvements
and other improved features that makes this a top-of-the-line trike. We can’t forget to mention
the free wheeler model. Spotting some different features,
this stripped-down style doesn’t sacrifice the standard specs while providing a surprising
number of customizable options. (upbeat music) – [Woman] Number 11. – [Glen] Wouldn’t it be
cool to take your trike to the top of a mountain
and just keep going? The folks over at evolution
combined an airplane and a tricycle to create
the Revo aircraft trike. Packing a four-stroke engine with 80 or 100 horsepower options. The two-seater Hybrid has
plenty of oomph to lift straight from the ground into the air being able to achieve air speeds of above 100 miles per hour. The Revo’s smaller wings
make it easier to fly because of the higher wind loading. This of course makes it
safer both in the air and on the ground. (upbeat music) – [Woman] Number 10. – [Glen] This compact electric
scooter keeps it simple. This trike by Gotcha is all-electric, topping out at 25 miles per hour with an estimated mile range of 40. It’s got some handy tech inside too, like automatic lights to keep
your focus on the streets. Turning is easy too
with a stability switch, to make sure you don’t topple over. – [Woman] Number nine. – [Glen] Doohan’s Itango,
comes in two models: the classic and HO. The classic gets a top
speed of 15 miles per hour and a range of 30 miles. And the HO tops out at 28 miles per hour with a range of 44 miles. The smaller battery means the
charge time is almost nothing with three and five hours respectively. The LCD dashboard shows
anything from speed to even Bluetooth. (upbeat music) – [Woman] Number eight. – [Glen] Meccanica’s Solo, gives you the weatherproof
comfort of a car, with the added benefits
of a standard trike. The top speed of the
vehicle is 82 miles per hour with a standard range of 100 miles. The three hour charge time
allows you to get right back into the Solo faster than
most other electric vehicles. And it comes standard with
plenty of luxurious features. The company also states it’s
built with 99% fewer parts than a gas-powered car, which means there’re fewer parts you must worry about breaking down. (upbeat music) – [Woman] Number seven. – [Glen] This trike aircraft
hybrid is similar in some ways to the Revo we mentioned earlier but the company proudly
highlights three unique features that the Rev X holds. There is no front strut
for the front wheel and couple that with the Rotax 582 engine, and allows this craft to reach
speeds of 58 miles per hour, with a cruise speed of 45. The Rev X also has all-wheel suspension which allows the three-wheeled vehicle to land softly and safely. (upbeat music) – [Woman] Number six. – [Glen] Despite its great fan enduring chopper-like design, the EW
21, is actually a scooter. The electric motor allows for speeds of up to 18 miles per hour. The bicycle seat allows for
the chopper to seat two people, and both of you can enjoy
your music while riding, as yes it has a Bluetooth speaker. The EW 21 has a battery range of 30 miles but a 60 volts smart charger is included to get this bad boy back on the road. (upbeat music) – [Woman] Number five. – [Glen] Take the word trike, slap the word luxury in front of it, and you have yourself the
2020 Vanderhall Carmel. It’s spacious cabin
makes it feel like a boat out on the road. Standard features include
heated seats, Bluetooth speakers and of course premium
materials for the seats, dashboard and even a
wooden steering wheel. (upbeat music) – [Woman] Number four. – [Glen] Sondor plans to
sell their electric car similar to Tesla, order it online and boom sent. Their three-wheeled vehicle
has standard features of up to 200 miles in
range, regenerative braking, future all-wheel drive plans
and a 170 horsepower motor. The design is almost car
like with a low profile fully encompass cabin. The interior is designed
to sit three people and made to feel open and comfortable. Planning to release availability
mid 2019 Sondor expects to make a splash in the
electric car industry (upbeat music) – [Woman] Number three. – [Glen] You might have
seen an older model already on the street. And it’s not surprising why
the Polaris slingshot S, looks like a three-wheel
version of an X-wing. Boasting a 173 horsepower engine, this trike can also be
customized almost from every part via colors upgrades and replacements. Some of these options
include quilted seats, premium audio kits, navigation and even interior LED light kits. Polaris also makes an
SL, SLR and other models. (upbeat music) – [Woman] Number two. – [Glen] Now we’re getting
back to the motorcycle design with Can-aM Spyder. Coming in three models, this bike holds a Rotax
1333 cylinder engine, providing a 105 horsepower. With a more robust design,
the Spyder is built to handle any weather conditions
the earth can throw at it. The minimal digital display
tells us this vehicle is designed to be a great
secure driving experience, without all the distractions
of more expensive features, however accessories are available to add. (upbeat music) – [Woman] Number one. – [Glen] Can-am is back
here in the number one spot with its Ryker 900. The base model boasts a
Rotax 600 ACE two cylinder and 50 horsepower engine. Like the Spyder, the Ryker
spots a minimally designed digital display only to
tell us the essentials. Also like the Spyder, there is an infinite
amount of customizability with upgraded engines
multiple color palettes, seats and more. (upbeat music) Which design did you like best? Was it the chopper style trike or maybe the half-trike half-airplane? Tell us which one you would
get in the comments below. Also if you have a topic you want us to cover in
the future, let’s know. For now though, thanks for watching. (upbeat music) – Hi everyone and thank you for watching I’m Chandni with Mind’s Eye Design. We love to hear your feedback, so please leave some comments below and let us know your
favorite from this video and why you liked it. If you have an idea for a future video, leave another comment and let us know. Then if we use your idea, we’ll give you a shout-out in that video. But don’t leave yet, keep
watching because there’s more. (upbeat music)

  1. Electric mopeds/scooters are stupid they can't go fast enough to actually drice on the road anywhere safely.

  2. Do to traffic concerns I am interested in narrow profile vehicles. I have lost all interest in I.C.E vehicles with the exception of aircraft.
Light weight Electric narrow profile tilting vehicles. In order to have a narrow profile vehicle it must tilt like a motorcycle yet have the stability of 3 or 4 wheels. The narrow track allows for splitting traffic in congested road conditions. Road conditions will only become more congested in the future in most populated areas so there should be a market for these mostly urban vehicles.people who already ride motorcycles and people who would not ride bikes may enjoy the experience of a bike but the safety of a car !

  3. Arcimoto 12 years old still not available , reports that the company is broke, only 3500 people have showed interest in the vehicle in 12 years…its a loser

  4. Elio had the right idea, an affordable, fully enclosed,2 seated vehicle, that could be driven yr round as a sole commuting vehicle with great MPG's but couldn't get off the ground… I wish a motorcycle company would build something similar to the Elio using motorcycle parts but make it more rugged, fun to drive with great MPG's…. Like a 3 wheeled SUV version of the Elio..(1wd or fwd & able to switch to 3wd in bad weather or rough roads) …..#8 Kinda has the right idea but it's not as versatile as an Elio would be..#4 Could be a sole vehicle if it was gas or hybrid and 3wd would help in rain and light snow. Still off the mark and not practical enough.

  5. If it only has one wheel in the front and one in the back it's a cycle.

If it has one wheel in the front and two wheels in the back, its a Trike.

If it has two wheels in the front and and wider than 36inch, it's a car.

They should be regulated to a certain criteria in order to be considered a cycle or a Trike.

    The rest are cars.

  6. There’s still time for a Hybrid-Elio………200mile battery 🔋 pack with 10gal reg gasoline tank……range estimates over one thousand miles.

Come on Elio……. where the hell are you ?????

These F’ing guys haven’t beaten you yet !!!!!!!

  7. Picked up my Can-Am Ryker 900 ace last weekend and it is just RIDICULOUS fun! With looks to die for. She’s called “Ripley” and she’s gonna be with me for a long time. 😁👌🏻

  8. The link for the Sondors (#4) is missing. The link for the Polaris (#3) is repeated instead. Please correct this.

  9. The big long ugly black thing I’m googling images for when I’m sad and need a laugh number 5 was terrible

  10. Still haven’t seen the white stallion perusing the Zehrs parking lot this year it has a matching trailer it pulls its a white can am spider

  11. I wouldn’t get one to drive I would just like to push it over that’s the only thing I
Like about a three wheel thing

  12. Any chance of creating a list of e-bikes, e-trikes, e-quads with pedal assist, full throttle that use super capacitors instead of traditional Li-Ion batteries?

  13. Loved the trike video. I like the can-am spider . They have a great ride and are very stable. Thanks for the video

  14. The trike that I like best, maybe not the best trike, but the best that I know and significantly "greener" than any you showed is the TerraTrike Rover. The gas mileage is infinitely greater – literally infinitely. The weight is less. And it is healthier.

  15. Minds. Eye three. Wheel bikes I really like the three seater red vehical cycle. Because it's covered from sun or rain and dust. Plus can carry passengers and carry groceries and things if needed. So yes fabulous be idea I love it. !! Sporty look also.

  16. Which one of these is built by a black founded, and operated company, with vehicles designed primarily by blacks and women?

  17. If you want a trike the CanAm F3 with the 1330 rotax motor is the only one to buy. Can Am has come farther in 11 years than Harley has in its entire history.

  18. Innovation in Automobile industry is happening across the world. Contemporary vehicles are getting outdated day by day and people will start utilizing these innovative products. Innovators should be commended highly for their hardwork and dedication in bringing these type of vehicles.

  19. We are happy to see the VANDERHALL CARAMEL. we would like to buy 2. What's the price on the Vanderhall?

  20. Unfortunately one lives in a far away back ward country called Australia it does not allow all these wonderful new E Vs. we live in fear of difference. and tolerance on the road is only in some places. Not Sydney or Melbourne they are all angry about traffic jams solved by light weight E bikes.

  21. 2019 July; Is it self-sustaining_?? As in; Best-solar roof to charge battery bank & wheel driven gears to re-charge battery bank.

  22. I would like to see more three wheel trike aircraft with Weston full tank range of flying how far can they go on one tank of fuel and are pilot's licenses needed some ultralight craft do not require a pilot's license

  23. I own 2 Can-Am Spyders, and now a 2019 Ryker Rally 900, and I love all three of them! And I'm thinking about buying a SlingShot in the fall.

  24. A few years ago I saw slingshots multiple times in Santa Monica. I was thinking they were 100k vehicles. Had no idea they were somewhat affordable. They look like the batmobile in person. I would go for something fully closed like the Sondors though since I don't have a garage.

  25. I have zero interest in an EV simply because of range issues. If you can't drive more than 100 miles w/o having 3-8hr recharge then it's useless to me. You guys in the media are enamoured with electric vehicles. The problem with them is that they have very short range. If I can't drive across country, your vehicle is useless.

  26. let me ge one of those model , i bet you won tell me how to buy one. 775 546 3432 nevada my name is alexander likes the trike blue color mph 75 and two seats

  27. I'd love to see test rides and pricing breakdowns on a lot of these vehicles. This video was great for showing what's out there but the information was minimal.

  28. This is the unit that I will be getting…   The same Honda 150 PCX is sold in the USA.   Why fight city hall to get a permit for taking a golf cart to the market and around town.    Just get the Honda Scooter with water cooled engine and anti lock brakes.   Bolt this kit onto the frame and your set….   Automatic shifting with no gears….   Just start and go.      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g4xSXOez1GM&fbclid=IwAR2VsehmqOb3Ln4OEx7ECOedqNqiyLq3l8tOnJI9bKfmBbnmSBqPu4ELcuc

  29. Battery?    WTH?    Why would I use "coal" powerplant produced/filled/charged batteries when I could just use a Honda water cooled, fuel injected, anti lock brake scooter and have half the carbon emission with no rare metal open pit mines as needed with Batts.   Great Propaganda but terrible reasoning.   Charge time?   WTH?

  30. Everything is wonderful but where do you get these cars. I like the solo and the achimoto. How can I get my hands on one?????

  31. If it's NOT a replacement for a 4-wheel automobile – no spank you (spelling intended)! We humans could reduce our "carbon footprint" by such alone; sadly, both mindless government + idiot activists (I'm a FORENSIC SCIENTIST by trade) on all sides seek more funding than TRUTH in most places.
